Good Vs Evil reveals
Good God-Evil Devil

On earth, we see many forms of good vs evil. God allows the Devil to cause events of good vs evil to happen in many of our lives. And yet, God has given us many weapons to overcome the good vs evil contest by walking in victory here on earth.

10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12aTherefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them (Rev. 12:10–12a, KJV).

Verse 10 pointed to the cross of Christ. Jesus Christ destroyed the Devil’s power when he rose from death to life in victory over evil. He stripped him of all authority (Col. 2:15; 1 John 3:8). Satan lost his place in Heaven, but the All-Powerful God still gives him some authority to harass people on earth.

Good Vs Evil Contest

Christians have many unanswered questions in the power struggle between light and darkness. If God has all power and authority, why does he permit good and evil (Matt. 28:18)?

The Lord sits on his Throne and watches us here on earth. In a sense, it’s a gigantic contest between good vs evil. The Creator permits Satan and his fallen angels a limited amount of power (Rev. 9:11). The Devil uses this power to try to keep people away from God. The Lord uses our testing of good vs evil to draw us towards him (James 1:2–4).

The Lord could come to each of us and overwhelm us with his love and glory. Almost every person on earth would then follow him. God could control people just as a puppeteer controls his puppets.

Thank God, he didn’t use this method to give us salvation. Instead, the Lord uses prayers from his children and sweet nudges by the Holy Spirit. Through this process, people pass from future life in the fires of hell to future eternal bliss with Jesus Christ.

Christians win the victory over Satan … by the blood of the Lamb. God allows the Devil to harass us, but Jesus gives us a weapon to overcome him (2 Cor. 10:3, 4; Rom. 16:20). We use the word of our testimony and the blood of the Lamb. Sometimes Christians pay the price of physical death here on earth because of their testimony.

Good vs evil battle already won by God

Good vs Evil battle already won by God

The voice in Heaven said … now is come salvation. This meant deliverance and safety. Many of the saints … loved not their lives unto the death. If a Christian has given his life for Jesus, we may wonder where’s the deliverance and safety? The verse, after the Christians gave their lives in good vs evil, said … rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Why has Heaven rejoiced over the physical deaths of God’s children?

Good vs Evil then Heaven

The Bible doesn’t talk much about Heaven, but it must be something. The saints in Heaven rejoice because one of their brothers or sisters comes home after their death. They must be delighted, because the person will experience jubilation and pleasure that’s unlimited. Our Father loves to surprise his children with good gifts here on earth (Luke 11:11). How much more will he surprise us in Heaven?

Worthy Is the Lamb (Rev. 7)

They stand with the angels holding palm branches.
They fall on their faces before the Throne and say,
“Worthy, Worthy is the Lamb who was slain.”
The Lamb gives them living water with love.
The Lamb gives joy and wipes away their tears.
“Praise and glory to the Lamb—Praise him.”
They hold their crowns and look into his face.
“Worthy, Worthy is the Lamb who was slain.”
